Can you fit a muffler to your C172's please. The noise for touch and go is insufferable.
I am looking around for flight schools for PPL, JaxAero was one of the schools recommended to me, so I took a discovery flight. The discovery flight at JaxAero goes for $250. Cole was at the desk when I walked in, he was friendly and informative. He took down all my information and told me about the school. Brandon was the instructor pilot during the discovery flight. The flight was a good time, I have never been up in Jacksonville and Brandon asked what area I wanted to see. He flew in the area around my house, did a touch and go at a different airport, and did some maneuvers. After the flight I talked to Jonathan and got more knowledge about the school. All the staff are professional and friendly. It seems to have a nice family atmosphere. The school is part 61 with a structured program using a syllabus. They are a very transparent school.

Took a tour with Jonathan and had a great experience. He really knew his stuff and took the time to explain everything clearly. He helped me understand what training path would be best for me for where I’m at, and his knowledge and passion for aviation really stood out.
JaxAero is a great small-ish flight school. Rian, Kate, and John were very welcoming and excited to share their passion for flying. Their discovery flight is on the pricier side, but it’s worth it with how open they are about their school. The only downside is that their financing partner has the worst interest rates I’ve seen, and John even warned me before applying which I appreciate.
Thanks to Jon Rutledge I had a great time at the tour I even got to get the change to get a discovery flight right after.
My tour went very well, they seem to be running a very tight ship! Cole Grant was accommodating at the front desk, and Jon Rutledge was very knowledgeable about their program and syllabus. I haven't made a decision yet, but they're top of the list so far.

Jaxaero is awesome! I enjoy renting and working toward my instrument rating with them. Their aircraft are properly equipped and maintained while being a great value! I contacted JAXAERO and eventually spoke with Jon Rutledge. He was extremely helpful and prompt getting me set up for a rental checkout flight as well as reserving the aircraft for me to fly around FL afterwards. After giving it some thought, I decided to travel to FL for a few days in advance of my vacation to do the checkout flight and knock out my commercial long XC. Jon promptly rearranged everything and got me all set up with the rental checkout and the reservations.
Upon arrival to JAXAERO I was greeted by so many kind, passionate, and professional aviators, including the owner, to help me get started with the checkout process. The owner is extremely passionate about aviation and I could tell he strives for excellence in customer service at his flight school. The hanger has a relaxed but professional vibe and I was made to immediately feel at home.
My rental checkout was with Idris Algabyali. He is an excellent flight instructor and a passionate aviator. He was very professional and prompt leading up to, during, and after the checkout. He helped me with all the details pertaining to the aircraft rental. He provided me with very informative ground sessions pre/post flight. During those sessions, I learned how efficiently JAXAERO's process is to check-out/check-in their aircraft. We shared with each other why we are both passionate about aviation and what inspired us to do what we do. We then had a great checkout flight and he even helped me improve some aspects pertaining to my landing technique.
I had a wonderful experience flying JAXAERO's beautiful, well-maintained, and well-equipped Skyhawk SP all around Florida the following day for my commercial long XC. About halfway through Private Pilot and I have to say that this is indeed a worthy challenge. Having retired from an advanced IT career, one would think that this skill (and depth / breadth of knowledge) would come easily to one that loves to learn, but alas... I am certain that I am a challenging student hah. Luckily, I have Idris Algabyali as my CFI. His level of patience, ability to break complex subject matter into comprehensible bite-sized chunks is nothing short of amazing. The confidence and skill level that he exudes while demonstrating maneuvers and concepts that will ultimately make one a safer and successful pilot is mind-blowing. He flies these birds like a well-seasoned race car driver drifts around corners at 180 mph. I've had the pleasure of flying with several of the other CFIs at JaxAero and frankly, I've not yet met one that isn't top-notch (some are Idres' past students). JaxAero is indeed lucky to have such a team of talented CFI (and II's) on their roster. I'm excited to get through Private and onto Instrument.
Owen Werner is an excellent flight instructor! He’s patient, knowledgeable, and always makes safety a top priority. I’ve learned so much flying with him and always felt confident in the cockpit. Highly recommend!

I just started my training here at Jax Aero very recently and I have nothing but amazing things to say about this amazing flight school! I did my research and toured many different school across the country to figure out which flight school would give me the proper training and atmosphere that I thought would give me life time success. John Rutledge has been the best with making this an easy transition with admission and getting acclimated to such a great program!
