Program Overview
Our Commercial Pilot Training program is designed to meet the rigorous standards set by the FAA while providing practical, hands-on experience. From mastering advanced flight maneuvers to honing your decision-making skills, our program covers all aspects of commercial aviation you’ll be well-prepared for the challenges of professional flying. To be eligible for an commercial pilot certificate, a person must:
- Have a current private pilot certificate (instrument rating preferred)
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have 250 hours total logged experience
- Complete the required minimum experience requirements
- 100 hours of PIC
- 50 hours PIC cross-country
- Specific commercial cross-country training flights
- Commercial maneuvers training
- Pass an FAA written exam
- Complete an FAA practical test (checkride)
