What are the requirements to enroll in flight training at JAXAERO?

To be eligible for a private pilot certificate, you must be 17 years old at the time of your checkride and be able to obtain an FAA medical certificate issued by an FAA-approved aviation medical examiner. Additionally, you must be proficient in English, be a US Citizen or receive approval for flight training in the US from the Transportation Security Administration after completing a background check.

We prioritize safety and training done right above all else, so training duration varies depending on the program selected and individual student progress. Our full time Professional Pilot Program can be completed from zero time to commercial pilot certification in about 6 months for many students. 

Yes, JAXAERO offers both part-time and full-time training options to accommodate your schedule and preferences. Our flexible training schedules allow you to customize your training based on your availability.

Yes, we encourage prospective students to schedule a discovery flight to experience the thrill of flying and learn more about our flight training programs.
