Training is completed in our Piper Seneca, renowned for its safety, reliability, and versatility as a trainer or cross-country aircraft.
10-Hour Multi-Engine Rating

The 10-hour multi-engine add-on program is perfect for those looking to add a multi-engine rating to their private or commercial pilot certificate.

- Use of the aircraft for the checkride
- ~8 hours ground school / briefings

- FAA private or commercial pilot certificate
- FAA medical certificate (3rd class or higher)
- Valid, unexpired US passport
15-Hour Multi-Engine Rating
$7995
The 15-hour multi-engine program is for pilots looking to add a multi-engine rating to their private or commercial pilot certificate, but prefer more training time prior to the checkride. It is also for those looking to add a multi-engine instructor (MEI) rating to an existing CFI certificate.
Program Features:
- ~13.5 hours dual instruction
- Use of the aircraft for the checkride
- ~12 hours ground school / briefings
- Access to training materials in advance

- FAA private or commercial pilot certificate
- FAA medical certificate (3rd class or higher)
- Valid, unexpired US passport
- Multi-engine rating (MEI applicants only)
My experience with JaxAero was nothing short of amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional.
I did my high performance there because it was one of the few schools in the area that offered it in a single-engine aircraft. that being said, they were aware that I would not be a student who would be frequently bringing them business, but that did not have any impact on their professionalism or service. I was still given a tour of the facility and treated like any of their regular students.
My instructor, Owen was also incredibly personable. He showed up early and was incredibly knowledgeable for the context of me getting my HP endorsement. The oral portion of the sign-off was incredibly relaxed, and strictly a learning opportunity. The flight was the same. While the environment was relaxed, the use of checklists was not, Owen and JaxAero stress the use of checklists and safety throughout the entire flight which was familiar and comforting for me.
The aircraft was was clean and well maintained. I would strongly encourage anyone looking for flight training to look in to flying with JaxAero.

I found JaxAero while looking for a good school in Florida where I could get my High Performance Endorsement. I gave them a call and Amanda was incredibly polite and helpful and got me on the books fast. I drove up from Central Florida in the morning, spent the afternoon here and drove back in the evening.
Owen, my instructor, was absolutely fantastic! He greeted me with a smile introduced himself and got me situated. Always nice when you're somewhere new. He's very knowledgeable, personable, and definitely someone who takes being a CFI as serious business rather than a chore to get to the magic number required for most pilot jobs. He did a great job explaining the HP 182T to me, explained the Garmin G1000, which I had very little prior exposure to before, and did an excellent job answering any questions I had.
I was also incredibly impressed by all the aircraft I saw on their ramp, especially the 182T I flew in. All of their aircraft are in fantastic condition by any measure, but especially for a flight school, where you so often see planes treated as "beaters". Not the case here! This 182T is the nicest airplane I've flown to date, mechanically and aesthetically.
In the air he made it easy for me to understand his instruction and follow his lead while absorbing all the new impressions I was being exposed to. He gave concise feedback to let me hone my skills and become proficient in the high performance aircraft. Once we got back to KCRG we debriefed and Owen answered any final questions for me and signed off my endorsement.
I've already told some of my friends who want their HP endorsement to give them a call, but JaxAero and their staff do an excellent job and deserve five stars!

Did a discovery flight today at Jaxaero and had a great time. Doc was my instructor and he really knows his stuff. He did an awesome job of balancing and blending the experience to ensure it included safety, sightseeing, education, and the opportunity to operate the controls and get a feel for flying the plane. Looking forward to working towards my ppl at Jaxaero
JaxAero has given me such an all-around great experience during my flight training. I toured all of the local flight schools, but immediately following my tour with Jon Rutledge, I knew I wanted to be a part of this one. The kindness from him and every single person has been overwhelming. My CFI, Frankie, has consistently extended invaluable kindness and encouragement throughout my training, especially when I was struggling most. Can’t recommend them enough!
I have flown at multiple flight schools, from a small “mom and pop shop” to the largest nation-wide school, and JAXAERO is by far the best! I had an amazing experience at JaxAero. Emerson Blythe did my CFI training and I felt thoroughly prepared for my exam.
Great facility, Airplanes well maintained, very friendly staff,and most importantly they have a set standards for operations and training connected to the safety.
